Sometimes, the best projects are the ones that bring you back home. When I was asked to paint a massive Little Debbie mural on the side of a charmingly restored old store in my little hometown of Paragould, Arkansas, I knew it was going to be something special. Not just because of the sheer scale—she’s a big girl, after all—but because of the people who helped me bring her to life.

With a whole lot of paint, determination, and the best team I could ask for, we knocked this out in a single weekend. And by “best team,” I mean my amazing mom, who was by my side the entire time, helping me every step of the way. Getting to work with her on something this big was such a special experience—one of those moments I’ll always cherish. My dad even jumped in for a bit to lend a hand, making it a true family effort.
Now, Little Debbie stands bright and bold on S. 4th Street, an eye-catching addition to this sleepy neighborhood. Seeing her transform the space and bring new life to this little corner of town makes all the hard work worth it. If you’re ever in Paragould, come take a look—you really can’t miss her!
